COVID-19 Health and Safety Measures

Kiwanis International has adopted the meeting guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and accordingly, the Nebraska-Iowa Kiwanis District intends to follow those guidelines and practice health measures as directed by the state and local health departments. For the current guidelines and safety measures, please visit the convention information page on the District website. These guidelines and safety measures may change as necessary. 

Cancellation & Refund Policies

• In-person registration cancellations must be emailed to nikiwanisdistrict@gmail.com and must be received by 12 p.m., Aug. 2, 2021. Cancellations will be refunded the amount paid, less a $10 processing fee. Refunds will be issued two weeks after the event. No refunds will be issued for requests made after the Aug. 2 deadline.
• This cancellation notice applies to convention meeting registration only and does not apply to any hotel reservations. Those must be canceled separately.
• Anyone who has purchased an in-person or virtual registration and does not attend will NOT receive a refund.

Publicity Waiver and Release Notice

For the right to enter the event, and for other consideration, the attendee hereby irrevocably permits, authorizes and licenses to the Nebraska-Iowa Kiwanis District to display, publicly perform, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, reproduce, alter, exploit, license, otherwise use and permit others to use attendee’s name, image, likeness and appearance, on a perpetual basis throughout the world and in any medium or format whatsoever now existing or hereafter created, including but not limited to, in and on print publications, electronic, magnetic and optical media, audio and audiovisual works, display, point-of-sale and other advertising and promotional materials, press releases, the internet, and in any other mediums for promotional purposes and any purpose, without further consent or royalty, payment or other compensation to attendee, and without any further consents or consideration.
